A growing residential real estate firm is expanding by opening offices in a pair of neighborhoods it already serves.

SVG Real Estate Firm said today that it has opened “spoke” offices in Grand Rapids’ Creston Heights neighborhood, at 2221 Plainfield Ave. NE, and Alger Heights neighborhood, at 734 Alger St. SE.

The firm said its “hub” office will remain in Grand Rapids, at 10 Straight Ave. SW.

SVG agent Ashley Dietch will lead the Creston Heights office, and agent Jamie Krier will lead the Alger Heights office.

SVG has created six new jobs in the last 60 days, which is what has "ultimately pushed us to expand beyond our main office,” said Sarah Williams, marketing administrative coordinator, SVG.

Williams added that the firm projects to expand its team by 10-15 people this year, with space available in each of SVG's offices to accommodate growth.

Neighborhood plans

SVG said the neighborhood offices will allow the firm to “take advantage of more frequent opportunities to be a part of each community’s growth and revitalization.”

“A long-range plan would be the opening of even more SVG offices in the areas of greater Grand Rapids where we specialize,” Williams said. “We prefer integrating ourselves directly within the communities that we serve, as opposed to just having one big office with everyone in it."
