A furniture maker has named a new senior vice president within its North America division.

Herman Miller in Zeeland said this month that Malisa Bryant has been promoted to SVP of Sales and Distribution for North America, Work and Learning.

Background

Bryant most recently served as the company’s VP of North America Sales.

She joined Herman Miller just over a year ago as VP and general manager of Focused Market Segments.

Previously, Bryant held several leadership roles within the industry at HNI Corporation: VP of customer support; VP and general manager of strategic accounts; and VP of sales for Allsteel.

She holds a B.S. and M.A. in sociology from Central Michigan University.

Proven winner

Herman Miller President and CEO Brian Walker said Bryant has brought to the company a “proven track record in the area of sales leadership.”

“Given her passion to win and significant industry experience, she is well-suited to reinvigorate our sales and distribution organization throughout North America,” Walker said.
