The Grand Rapids Bar Association is partnering with the Grand Rapids Public Library once again to provide information to the public on key legal topics.

This Wednesday, the association's Ask-a-Lawyer program will tackle the topic of “Employee Rights and Wrongful Termination.”

The presentation will begin at 6 p.m. and be free and open to the public.

The presentation will include an overview of the legal topic, followed by an interactive question-and-answer period.

The event will likely cover a range of questions: “Does my employer have to pay me overtime?”; “What can I do if my employer won’t pay me?”; “What is a ‘wrongful discharge?’”; and “I was fired, because I’m pregnant. Is there anything I can do?”
