Lansing residential builder enters market
A Lansing-based builder is planning three dozen new homes for the Wyoming area as its entry into the West Michigan market.
Mayberry Homes recently announced that three new homes are completed and for sale in Reserve at Rivertown, a community located at the corner of Ivanrest Avenue SW and 56th Street in Wyoming. Another 33 homes will be completed within the next 18 months, according to Kevin Gray, Mayberry sales manager.
Mayberry broke ground on the site in December. As of April 25, three furnished model homes had been finished and are open for tours and for sale. Granger Group in Wyoming is the developer of the nearly $10 million project, he said.
“They’re basically new homes that are sold with the customer making the selections,” Gray said.
The site, which is near RiverTown Crossings Mall and is situated in the Grandville school district, will have 36 homes, offering a variety of floor plans that range from “1,500 - 3,500 square feet and are priced from the $200's,” according to Mayberry’s website. The homes are also Energy Star certified. Reserve at Rivertown will be featured in this month’s Parade of Homes.
“Mayberry is absolutely thrilled to be expanding to this vibrant, growing city,” said Robert Schroeder, Mayberry president. “We look forward to becoming part of the Grand Rapids market and bring our homes and ideas to it.”
