A brewery is extending the packaging of one of the top beers in its lineup.

Bell’s Brewery in Galesburg said yesterday that it will release its popular Two Hearted Ale IPA in 12 packs of 12-ounce cans this fall.

The 12 packs will be available year-round across Bell’s distribution footprint.

The brewery recently released its summer seasonal Oberon in the 12-ounce format.

Both beers — and its seasonal brews — are available in 16-ounce cans as well. Two Hearted Ale is also sold on draught and in 12-ounce bottles.

“This is something we have been talking about for some time,” said Laura Bell, VP, Bell’s Brewery. “Our fans have asked for it, and it just makes sense considering all the places cans can go that bottles cannot.”

Two Hearted Ale is regularly rated one of the top IPAs in the nation by beer publications.
