AT&T’s presence in West Michigan keeps growing.

On Aug. 1, AT&T plans to open a new retail store at 5570 28th St. SE, Grand Rapids. The store, which will be run by Fonepage Communications, will feature a 1,400-square-foot showroom and provide AT&T customers with more access to devices, accessories and services like AT&T’s U-verse and Digital Life.

“Our goal is to become America’s premier retailers by providing an exceptional experience in every interaction, and that begins with having stores conveniently located for our customers,” said Brian Ducharme, who serves as vice president and general manager for AT&T in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio.

“AT&T customers looking for the latest wireless applications and services, smartphones, tablets and accessories to mirror their mobile lifestyles now have another great location to find the right solution to fit their mobile lifestyle.”

The store will be open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday, and noon-6 p.m. on Sunday. AT&T also has Grand Rapids locations at 221 East Beltline Ave. NE and 38 West Fulton St.

“AT&T continues to invest in Michigan,” said Jim Murray, president of AT&T Michigan. “This new store for Grand Rapids, and ones like it in neighboring communities, helps better connect residents with the devices and services they are asking for.”
