Two award-winning creative agencies have joined forces.

Plenty in Grand Rapids said yesterday that it has merged with Fairly Painless Advertising in Holland.

Fairly Painless has been in business for 23 years, and Plenty has been in business for 11 years.

Both agencies have garnered numerous accolades for their work and are well respected within the creative industry.

Fairly Painless will now operate in Holland and Grand Rapids, in Plenty’s downtown space, at 15 Ionia Ave. SW.

Gwen O’Brien, principal and creative director, and Dottie Rhodes, principal, founded Plenty, a branding, graphic and digital design studio that “helps clients communicate their vision and story through both traditional and new methods.”

O’Brien said the combined firm will allow Plenty to “gain the creative resources of a larger agency, and Fairly Painless will gain the level of design Plenty has been recognized for.”

“We’ve long admired Plenty Creative’s wonderfully inspired design and creative thinking,” said Chris Cook, president, Fairly Painless Advertising.

Cook said the expanded firm will be better positioned to help clients "navigate the ever-growing number of pages, platforms, screens, devices and touchpoints through which consumers are reached."
