It’s time for the fall Parade of Homes.

The 2015 Fall HBA Parade of Homes, presented by the Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids, or HBAGGR, is set to run from Oct. 2-17.

The annual event will feature about 36 homes throughout 12 West Michigan communities: Ada, Allendale, Belmont, Byron Center, Caledonia, Comstock Park, Grand Rapids, Holland, Hudsonville, Rockford, Spring Lake and Zeeland.

The homes will be open for tours from 1-8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 5-8 p.m. Wednesdays. Remodeled homes can be toured from 1-8 p.m. on Oct. 16-17.

The event serves as inspiration for potential homebuyers or those looking to remodel.

The homes have prices ranging from $200,000 to more than $1 million.

The homes will feature the latest trends in green practices, custom details, floor coverings, landscaping, wall treatments and more.

Andy Lofgren, executive officer of HBAGGR, said the event is “a showcase of area builders and a great source of business for the local building industry.”

He added that it’s “important housing continues to grow, because housing also grows our local economy.”
