A downtown venue will host a pair of art gallery open houses and networking events for architects, contractors and designers this week.

The historic Harris Building, at 111 S. Division Ave., will host the events tomorrow from 4-7 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“There will be live music, networking opportunities and most important, unique and impressive art,” the invitation says.

The events will showcase the exhibit The Harris Building hosted during ArtPrize, as well as the exhibit "CrOp: Detroit."

The work of more than 40 artists — using various mediums, including photography, painting and sculpture — will be on display.

Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP to jen at theharrisbuilding dot com.
