A bar crawl in the area is on tap for Thanksgiving eve.

Rockford Brewing Co. will host its fourth-annual Rockford Pub Crawl through eight locations in downtown Rockford. The crawl begins Wednesday at 3 p.m.

The first Rockford Pub Crawl was held about a month prior to the brewery’s opening in 2012 and has been held the night before Thanksgiving every year since.

Six new Rockford Brewing beers will be debuted, and the day will also include the return of Blackfin Black IPA and 2015 Butternut Spiced Ale.

A number of Rockford businesses are participating in the event: The Corner Bar, Grill One-Eleven, Reds on the River, The Rogue River Tavern, Gutters Sports Lounge, Ramona’s Table and Uccello’s.

“Information on the specific locations of each new beer release will remain a mystery, so join in the run,” the brewery says on its website.
