One of downtown’s tallest buildings has finished up a year of adding services for residents.

River House Condominiums in Grand Rapids, at 335 Bridge St. NW, recently completed a set of service additions, including improved residential amenities, services and activities, according to the building’s management company, Colliers International | West Michigan. Colliers took over management of the building last year.

The new amenities in the “state’s largest all-residential building” include upgraded fitness equipment in its private gym and increased full time, on-site staff, including a community manager, assistant property manager and building engineer.

Other activities within the community include a monthly speaker series, book club and yoga sessions.

River House was completed in 2008 and contains 204 units on 34 floors.

Colliers said the service additions will help keep the community competitive, as more residential units are opened across downtown Grand Rapids.

“More and more these days, families and individuals looking to live downtown are making their decisions based on services and amenities,” said, Anne Ficeli, director of property management, Colliers International | West Michigan.

Ficeli added that the firm and River House are working together and have “listened to the community we serve.”

“And we’ll keep asking them to give us feedback,” she said.
