A new business will be ready to handle New Year’s resolutions this week.

A ribbon cutting is scheduled for tomorrow morning at Orange Theory Fitness, 3108 28th St. SE in Grand Rapids.

The fitness club is led by Susan Gozdowksi, who is reaching out to the community via organizations and a wave of marketing efforts such as orange trucks and bikes, and orange-clad employees.

“Orange Theory is something everyone needs to try, and being involved with the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce is our first step in getting more involved in the community,” Gozdowksi said.

The fitness center uses certified coaches to help lead participants through 60-minute, full-body workouts. The formula also is meant to create a 36-hour metabolic burn following the workout.

There are three membership levels — basic, elite and premier — all which are month-to-month. Corporate memberships also are available.

Orange Theory Fitness was included as one of “10 Franchises That Swept the Nation in 2015” in Inc. Magazine and also was featured in the New York Times.
