CK Technologies names COO
A man with more than 20 years of experience in the plastics industry is the new chief operating officer at CK Technologies.
CK Technologies, or CKT, a unit of Grand Rapids-based Cascade Engineering, said this week that it has promoted VP Tony Kramer to the role.
Kramer will be responsible for the "continued success" of CKT "as it strives towards long-term goals" of being a triple-bottom-line company.
"It is an honor to be a part of the CKT team and a part of the Cascade Engineering Family of Companies," Kramer said in a statement. "I have believed in what we are doing since my start in 2007, have been fortunate to be a part of phenomenal growth, and am truly driven by the people I work with. We have so many great people within the organization that define who we are and understand what needs to get done to satisfy our customers."
He will report to CK Technologies President Christina Keller.
Kramer joined CKT in 2007 as an account manager overseeing one of the company’s key accounts, Navistar.
In 2009, Kramer was promoted to commercial director, managing CKT’s account management team and eventually overseeing program management and cost estimating.
He was promoted to VP of commercial in 2013.
He is a graduate of Indiana University.
Founded in 2002, CK Technologies is a supplier to the North American truck and bus industries and was bought by Cascade Engineering in 2007.
CKT provides large plastic injection molded parts and assembles both painted and chrome plated bumpers, grilles, roof fairings and chassis skirts.
It has four manufacturing facilities in Montpelier, Ohio, Mount Airy, N.C., Brownsville, Texas and Forth Worth, Texas.
