A brewery is set to re-release an experimental beer next month.

As its next Backstage Series release, Founders Brewing Co. in Grand Rapids will release Mango Magnifico con Calor across its distribution footprint on March 1.

The 750-ml bottles will have a suggested retail price of $10.99.

The mango-and-habanero beer weighs in at 10-percent ABV and was first released in 2013.

Other fruit beers released by Founders include Rubaeus, Cerise, Blushing Monk and Big Lushious.

The beer is the first Backstage Series release of 2016 and the 15th installment since the experimental, limited-edition series was started in 2011.

New specialty brewery

Last week, Founders announced a secondary brewery in Grand Rapids, at 900 Hynes St. SW.

The new 190,000-square-foot facility will be used for warehousing and logistics, but will also house a new brewery to focus on the brewery’s specialty, limited and Backstage release beers.
