Hospital foundation names board members

The foundation of a local hospital has elected three new members to its board and re-elected five others.

The Spectrum Health Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Foundation said that Kristin Duryee, community volunteer, Rabih Jamal, managing director at DWH, and Dr. Alejandro Quiroga, section chief of pediatric nephrology at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, have been elected to serve three-year terms on its board.

Peg Breon, community volunteer, Dr. James Fahner, division chief at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Hemocology/Oncology, Dr. Ronald Hofman, private practice pediatrician, Dan Hurwitz, assistant VP for community giving at Grand Valley State University, and Meg Miller Willit, community volunteer, have all been re-elected to the foundation board.

Dr. Beth Robinson, Robinson Dental, was appointed to the board to serve as co-chair with Dr. Scott Robinson, Robinson Dental, of the annual campaign.

Dr. Leonard Radecki, Spectrum Health pediatrician, was named board member emeritus.

Peter Renucci, owner of E&R Investments and founder of Continental Bio-Clinical Laboratory Services, was named a lifetime member of the board.
