A brewery in the region is expanding its footprint into a new state and two new metropolitan markets.

New Holland Brewing Co. said this week that it will begin shipping beer to California and further penetrate the Texas market by entering Houston and San Antonio.

New Holland now distributes beer in 30 states.

“We feel connected to these markets for so many reasons and have heard the call of demand for our beers,” said Fred Bueltmann, VP of brand and lifestyle, New Holland Brewing Co. “It’s clear there is a strong and vibrant craft scene in both of these markets, with passionate and dedicated people moving it forward.”

New Holland will release much of its year-round portfolio, including the brewery’s bestselling Dragon’s Milk Bourbon Barrel Stout.

Beers will be distributed by Wine Warehouse in California and Silver Eagle Distributors in the Houston and San Antonio markets.

“We are especially excited to bring Dragon’s Milk to our markets — the first year-round bourbon barrel-aged stout in our portfolio, giving locals an option outside of the traditional limited release barrel-aged stouts,” said John Nau, president and CEO, Silver Eagle Distributors.
