A Michigan packaging company is expanding in the area.

Sun Coast Packaging has purchased a 9,333-square-foot office building in Comstock Park, at 4211 Division Ave. N., from OPMA Properties.

Sun Coast is headquartered in Sodus, but it recently acquired Shapiro Packaging to enter the Grand Rapids market.

The building will allow the packaging supplier to "expand on product offerings to our current customer base," said Fred Grams, president, Sun Coast Packaging.

NAI Wisinski of West Michigan brokers Mary Anne Wisinski and Dave Smies represented the seller, and X Ventures’ Chip Bowling represented the buyer in the deal.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
