Toyota has recognized a trucking company in the region for excellence.

The Toyota North American Parts organization awarded freight carrier Holland, which is based in Holland, with its 2015 Less Than Truckload Logistics Partners of the Year award.

Holland said last month that the award recognizes the company’s “delivery excellence” in the central and southeastern U.S. and eastern Canada.

When announcing the award, a Toyota representative said Holland “consistently provided exceptional service in the less-than-truckload market, despite the challenges of inconsistent volumes and variable shipment frequency.”

Scott Ware, president of Holland, said his company is proud to be a “trusted supplier” to Toyota, and it’s “honored to be selected as their leading carrier in our service region.”

This is the second year Holland has earned the award.
