Lakeshore business owners will have a chance to showcase their products and services to other businesses at an expo and networking event this spring.

The Chamber of Commerce Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg and the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce have partnered once again to host the 16th-annual Lakeshore Business Expo on May 12 in Spring Lake at Trillium Catering and Event Center, at 17246 Van Wagoner Rd., from 2-6 p.m.

The event is free to attend and open to the public.

The Lakeshore Business Expo will feature more than 70 booths by chamber businesses.

The event also features a business after-hours event, starting at 4:30 p.m., to provide a casual and social networking setting for the participating businesses.

Connecting communities

Courtney Geurink, director of events and programs at the Chamber of Commerce Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg, said that Trillium is a great space and is central for both of the communities.

“Since our communities are neighbors, I think it is great that we work on this together,” Geurink said.

“Our members can benefit from having business and doing business with their members and vice versa. It brings the two communities together, and it is an opportunity to meet other members and other businesses they might not have the opportunity to meet.

Exhibitor registration

Businesses interested in participating in the event as an exhibitor must be a member of one of the chambers.

The cost for the remaining booths is about $375, and online registration ends March 31.
