A local IT firm’s growth has led it to find a new home that’s more than triple the size of its current office.

Fusion IT is moving from its space in Jenison, at 263 Church St., to a new location in Kentwood, at 4120 Brockton Dr. SE, in May.

The new office space is about 7,600 square feet, while its current space is 2,500 square feet.

“We look forward to moving into our new headquarters,” said Michael Waldschlager, president and CEO, Fusion IT.

“We are excited to showcase our user training space and end-to-end technology business solution services.”

He added that the firm will continue to develop its team to serve its “growing client base.”

Fusion IT, which employs 16 people, expects to grow to about 40 employees within four years.

The firm will occupy the northwest portion of the building.

Renovation

The new office is being renovated by Adrian J. Coopson Builder of Portage.

The project will include converting about 3,400 square feet of warehouse space into offices and a computer room.

Brokers

Fusion IT was represented by Olga Hallstedt of Results Commercial Real Estate, a Fusion client, in the lease deal.

Drew Nelson of Signature Associates represented the landlord.
