A pair of local commercial real estate firms are strengthening their business relationship.

Colliers International | West Michigan said today that it’s partnering with Bradley Company.

The partnership includes Colliers representing four of Bradley’s retail properties and two of Bradley’s land listings in West Michigan.

Colliers said the partnership will add to its portfolio and expand Bradley’s “presence” in the region.

Brad Toothaker, present and CEO, Bradley Company, said the firm has had “a wonderful relationship” with Colliers for several years.

“We’re excited to continue it through this partnership,” Toothaker said.

Toothaker added that Colliers has “an outstanding retail team that is making a positive impact in the Grand Rapids community.”

“We share a common goal of helping retail businesses find a location that works best for them and their customers, and this partnership aims to do just that,” Toothaker said.

Properties

The six properties that are part of the partnership are located across West Michigan: retail properties at 6250 28th St., Kentwood; Ridgemore Plaza at 2889 28th St.; Oakstown Plaza at 3000 28th St., Wyoming; Yorktown Plaza at 4020 Alpine Ave., Comstock Park; and land listings on Alpine Avenue and East Beltline.

“Each of these retail properties has undergone significant improvements that include new facades, upgraded landscaping and parking lot maintenance,” said Chris Prins, retail broker, Colliers International | West Michigan. “There will also be a great tenant mix at each of these locations, bringing more foot traffic to the area.”

Prins and Colliers retail broker Mark Ansara will work “closely” with Bradley Company in positioning the portfolio “to attract new retailers.”

Bradley will continue to manage the retail properties.

“This is a unique relationship, because it’s quite uncommon to have a brokerage firm hire another brokerage firm, and we believe this partnership will be very beneficial for Bradley Company, Colliers International | West Michigan and businesses looking to be in the right retail location,” Ansara said.

Colliers

With three offices comprising 70 employees in West Michigan, Colliers International has handled 4,359 transactions in the region totaling more than $2.1 billion since 2006.

The West Michigan team specializes in office, retail, industrial and investment clients.

Bradley

Founded in 1978, Bradley Company has eight offices throughout West Michigan and Indiana.

Bradley employs more than 250 people and manages nearly 2,500 multi-housing units and more than 10 million square feet of office, medical, industrial and retail space.
