A brewery in the region is expanding its distribution into new state and international markets.

Saugatuck Brewing Co. said recently that it will ship beer into the Philadelphia and St. Louis markets.

The brewery also recently sent 10 pallets of beer to Kiev, Ukraine.

The new distribution markets bring Saugatuck Brewing’s total markets to nine states and five foreign markets.

Recently, Saugatuck Brewing also entered Kentucky and southern Indiana. The brewery’s beer is also available in Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Saugatuck Brewing partnered with Stockertown Beverage in Pennsylvania and Artisans Cellar in Missouri for distribution in the new U.S. markets.

The brewery brewed 11,000 barrels of beer last year and is on pace for 13,000 barrels in 2016. A barrel is about 31 gallons.

The company is also rolling out re-branded packaging for its seven main beers.

“As our production capacity and product range continues to grow, we are very proud to be systematically expanding into new markets and bringing our beer to the increasingly savvy craft beer drinker,” said Ric Gillette, president and CEO, Saugatuck Brewing Co.
