A local health system is celebrating the opening of its third integrated care facility in the region.

Spectrum Health’s Integrated Care Campus at Ionia held its dedication ceremony and open house on Monday and will start seeing patients next Monday.

The facility is in Ionia, at 2776 S. State Rd.

The 10,720-square-foot facility was designed by HKS and constructed by Grand Rapids-based Wolverine Building Group.

The facility features primary care, laboratory, x-ray and ultrasound services.

“Our hope is that this beautiful new facility will enable our patients living in the greater Ionia area to easily access quality care that is close to home,” said Dr. Seth Wolk, president, Spectrum Health Medical Group.

Though this is the third integrated care campus, or ICC, constructed by Spectrum Health, it is the first to be operated by one of Spectrum Health’s hospitals.

Spectrum Health Pennock will manage the services and the physicians located at the ICC.

Dr. Donald Gingerich and Christina Reisinger, N.P., of Spectrum Health Medical Group, will provide care within the new facility at Spectrum Health Pennock Family Medicine – Ionia.

Dr. Richard Mason will join the practice this summer.

Spectrum Health constructed its first integrated care campus in 2012 in Holland, at 588 E. Lakewood Blvd. In 2014, it opened its Integrated Care Campus at East Beltline in Grand Rapids, at 2750 E. Beltline Ave NE.
