Brewery releases limited-edition stout

A brewery is releasing another limited version of its bestseller.

New Holland Brewing Co. said today that it will release Dragon’s Milk Reserve Raspberry Lemon this month.

The beer is a twist on the brewery’s year-round bestseller, Dragon’s Milk, a stout which is aged for three months in bourbon barrels, but this time with Michigan raspberries and lemon zest.

A release party will be held Saturday at New Holland’s Pub on 8th in Holland.

“We knew our third Dragon’s Milk Reserve variant needed to be something perfect for the summer season,” said Brett VanderKamp, president, New Holland Brewing Co. “Our brewers surprised us with this one. The raspberries bring a depth to Dragon’s Milk that we love, and the lemon zest kicks up the fruit aromas. Our brewers nailed it.”

A fourth variant of Dragon’s Milk will be released in October.

The beer was first made in 2001 as a specialty annual release.
