GRandJazzFest fine-tunes festival to two days

GRandJazzFest returns to Rosa Parks Circle for its fifth year this weekend.

The annual festival brings well-known and up-and-coming jazz artists to downtown Grand Rapids for two days of performances.

This year, there will be 11 performers taking the stage. Performances range from big band to Latin to contemporary.

Performances kick off on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and conclude on Sunday at 7 p.m.

All performances are free to attend.

12:30 p.m.: Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra with Edye Evans Hyde

2 p.m.: Organissimo

3:30 p.m.: Tumbao Bravo

5 p.m.: Steve Hilger

6:30 p.m.: Tim Bowman

8 p.m.: Cindy Bradley

Sunday performance schedule

1 p.m.: Bierenga-Sullivan Quintet

2:30 p.m.: Lakeshore Big Band

4 p.m.: Urban Jazz Coalition

5:30 p.m.: Walter White

7 p.m.: Chris Standring
