I am disappointed with the Guest Column by Todd R. Yarbrough “Why business should say yes to a carbon tax” (Business Journal, Aug. 22).

Let me be clear. There is no “climate change” or “global warming.” The temperature of the Earth has not increased for 16 years. Climate change is nothing more than a hoax. Besides, carbon dioxide is not poisonous. The amount in the air is insignificant.

Why do Liberals always want to increase taxes to take care of a “problem?” I am not saying the author is a Liberal. I am just tired of the same old trope about carbon dioxide being bad for us.
