Brewery releases double IPA
A new year-round double IPA from an established brewery in the area is on the market.
New Holland Brewing Co. released Hoptronix last week as the newest addition to the Holland-based brewery’s portfolio. The 9 percent alcohol by volume double IPA will be found throughout the company’s 30-state distribution footprint in 12-ounce bottles and on draft.
New Holland is committing to its IPA lineage of Mad Hatters with Hoptronix, along with giving customers more to look forward to than another one-off beer, said Joel Petersen, New Holland vice president of marketing, in a statement.
“Hoptronix is a beer we have had a lot of fun with,” Petersen said. “From the beer itself to the graphics and planned launch parties; we focused on bringing forward the bold flavors of Mosaic hops in a way that will thrill hop lovers everywhere.”
The brewery was started in 1997 in Holland and has since grown into one of the largest breweries in Michigan.
Earlier this fall, New Holland opened the Knickerbocker, 417 Bridge St. NW, a restaurant, taproom and production facility in Grand Rapids.
