The polls are back open.

Downtown Grand Rapids Inc., or DGRI, has opened up voting for the 2017 Movies in the Park series lineup.

Voters can pick 10 films to be considered for next summer’s lineup at Ah-Nab-Awen Park in downtown.

DGRI has provided a list of more than 100 options for voters to pick from, and there's an option for voters write in their selections.

Films listed on the survey cross into a number of genres and span more than 50 years of films: the list includes “Animal House,” “Almost Famous,” “The Royal Tennenbaums,” “O Brother Where Art Thou,” “Shrek” and more.

The voting will end on Jan. 1, when DGRI organizers will select six of the highest vote getters for the 2017 lineup. DGRI will select the six movies based on licensing availability and with the intention of creating a well-rounded lineup.

Following the finalization and public announcement of the lineup in the spring, DGRI will open voting again, picking between five and 10 of the remaining top vote getters for the public to vote on as the 2017 Movies in the Park Voter’s Choice movie.

People can cast a vote online.
