A $9.6-million apartment project in town with ground-floor retail and restaurant space is finishing up and leasing units.

Grand Rapids-based Orion Construction said this month it has completed several floors of Fulton Square in Grand Rapids, at Fulton Street E and Carlton Avenue SE.

Construction on Fulton Square began last February and will continue through spring.

Leasing

Colliers West Michigan has begun leasing for the 47-unit project, including townhomes, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. All studio apartments were leased during pre-leasing.

Colliers is also showing the retail and restaurant spaces.

Fulton Square is a 55,000-square-foot development spread in two buildings, including a three-story building with ground-floor townhomes and a four-story building with two ground-floor retail spaces and a ground-floor restaurant space.

A model unit is available for viewing.

Firms on the project

Orion Real Estate Solutions, a division of Orion Construction, and SIBSCO are the project’s majority investors.

Sparta-based ChoiceOne Bank is providing financing.

Grand Rapids-based Concept Design served as the project’s architect.

Colliers West Michigan is the property manager.
