Bank appoints COO and VPs
A bank in the region has appointed its operations lead and promoted five others to senior positions.
Sparta-based ChoiceOne Bank promoted Adom Greenland to SVP and chief operations officer.
Greenland’s new position was announced concurrently with the promotions of Jennifer Bellamy, Gary Hall, Josh Hucul, Todd LaVictoire and Jason Parker to VP positions.
“As we continue to grow and expand our community bank franchise throughout West Michigan, it is necessary for us to increase our levels of expertise, due diligence and customer service in all we do, and these folks do this exceptionally well,” said Kelly Potes, president and CEO, ChoiceOne Bank.
Greenland joined ChoiceOne Bank in 2013 as VP of operations and in 2015, was promoted to SVP of retail and information technology.
Prior to his role at ChoiceOne, Greenland was a CPA with PricewaterhouseCoopers for 10 years, including two years at the firm’s U.K. office in London.
He holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University.
Bellamy, who joined the bank as a teller in 2002 and has been a commercial loan officer since 2012, was promoted to VP and commercial loan officer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and general management marketing from Grand Valley State University.
Hall was promoted to VP and mortgage sales manager. He has been with the bank since 2011 and was promoted to assistant vice president in 2014. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Aquinas College.
Hucul will now work as VP and credit department manager. He has nine years of banking experience overseeing credit quality and holds a bachelor’s degree from Saginaw Valley State University.
LaVictoire, who joined ChoiceOne last year, has been promoted to VP and controller. Prior to joining ChoiceOne, LaVictoire was a senior business analyst in global audit at Steelcase. He holds a bachelor of arts and a master of science in accounting from Michigan State University and is a CPA.
Parker returned to ChoiceOne in 2013 and has been promoted to VP and commercial loan officer. With more than 15 years of banking experience, he has an M.B.A. from Western Michigan University and a bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University.
