A conference for real estate investors will hit downtown Grand Rapids this week.

The Michigan Landlord & Real Estate Investor Conference & Expo begins Thursday at DeVos Place.

Hosted by the Grand Rapids-based Rental Property Owners Association, or RPOA, the conference runs through Saturday.

The event is open to the public and free.

It will feature seven national speakers: Robyn Thompson; Jeffrey Taylor; Vena Jones-Cox; Brad Sumrok; Tom Zeeb; Tony Youngs; and Sue Hoyuela.

They’ll discuss topics ranging from wholesaling to rehabbing and flipping to Airbnb.

Attendees will also be able to peruse multiple breakout sessions, including asset protection and screening for tenants.

The Rental Property Owners Association has helped real estate investors in West Michigan since 1968 with classes, free legal advice, credit reports, networking groups and more.
