Real estate company acquires affiliate
A real estate company has acquired an affiliate in the region.
Colliers International Group said today it acquired the Colliers office in Holland.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Colliers said the move was the "final step" in "unifying" its operations in the state. Colliers acquired the Grand Rapids affiliate office last July and has acquired offices in Lansing, Ann Arbor and Southfield.
“Joining forces with Colliers International Group in 2016 opened the opportunity to acquire operations in neighboring Holland, fully integrating all the operations in western Michigan,” Colliers West Michigan CEO Duke Suwyn said.
The Holland office is led by Kris DePree, who said the acquisition was a “natural next step.”
“By combining our operations in western Michigan, we will be able to leverage the size, resources and infrastructure of the Colliers International brand and global platform, to continue growing our business and better service our clients locally, nationally and globally,” DePree said.
Colliers Central Region President Steve Everbach said the acquisition is the latest of several in the Midwest, including St. Louis and Indianapolis.
