Nonprofit hires CEO
A nonprofit focused on improving women’s economic opportunities has named a new CEO.
The Women’s Resource Center of Grand Rapids said last week it hired Sandra Gaddy for the role.
She will begin the position on March 22.
Carol Crawford, board chairwoman for Women’s Resource Center, said Gaddy is a “seasoned leader” who's “ready to help our team make thoughtful progress with our mission.”
Gaddy said she's “humbled” and “honored” to join the Women’s Resource Center.
“Its rich history of helping to increase and improve workplace and economic opportunities in the lives of women and their families across West Michigan is vital, and I’m excited to be a part of this important work,” Gaddy said.
Gaddy has more than 20 years of experience in developing teams, strategic planning, collaboration and fundraising.
She currently serves as VP of advancement for the nonprofit Inner City Christian Federation.
Previously, she served as VP of marketing and communications with Mel Trotter Ministries.
She is a graduate of Cornerstone University.
