A Grand Rapids brewery is nearing full national distribution.

With three new state announcements in the past month, Founders Brewing Co. is filling out its distribution map.

With Montana, Delaware and Mississippi, Founders will now distribute its beers to 45 states.

Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Hawaii and Alaska remain to be filled out.

Founders will enter Montana on April 1.

The brewery has signed with the Great Artisan Beverage Montana network for distribution, which includes Summit Beverage, Cardinal Distributing, Fun Beverage, Gusto Beverage and Briggs Distributing.

Founders Co-Founder and CEO Mike Stevens fishes in Montana annually.

“Having been a two-bit fly-fishing guide in my previous life, it makes me damn proud that I can now purchase Founders beer in a place that, in a lot of ways, represents that past,” Stevens said.

Completing East Coast coverage for Founders is Delaware, which will begin receiving beer in May.

Standard Distributing Company will be the distribution partner in the state.

Founders will enter Mississippi in mid April.

Mississippi completes Founders' distribution coverage in the South and every state east of the Mississippi River.

Founders has signed with Capitol City Beverages, Clark Beverage Group, F.E.B. Distributing, Magnolia Beverage and Stokes Distributing for distribution.
