Meijer Gardens reveals lineup of 30 summer concerts

A local amphitheater has revealed its full lineup of summer shows.

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park announced this morning the 30-show lineup for the Fifth Third Bank Summer Concerts at Meijer Gardens, which runs from June through September.

Meijer Gardens said the lineup “reflects our continued commitment to bring high-quality, talented and broadly diverse artists” to the series.

Members of Meijer Gardens may purchase tickets at a $5 discount during a members-only pre-sale from 9 a.m. on April 29 through midnight on May 12.

The general public may purchase tickets beginning at 9 a.m. on May 13.

Tickets for both the pre-sale and general public are available online at startickets.com, by phone at 800-585-3737 or in person at the Meijer Gardens admission desk during normal business hours.

Meijer Gardens Amphitheater

The 1,900-seat, general-admission amphitheater at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, at 1000 E. Beltline Ave. NE, features an eclectic mix of musicians in concert each summer, rain or shine.

Concert-goers may bring blankets or low-rise chairs to sit on. Low-rise chairs are defined as 12 inches maximum from the ground to the front of the seat bottom and 32 inches maximum to the top of the chair back in the highest position. A limited number of standard-height chairs are available to rent.

Food and alcoholic beverages are available at the concessions counter, or concert-goers may bring their own food, bottled water and non-alcoholic beverages.
