Amway is planning to lay off about 90 workers.

The move at Ada-based Amway is the result of changes to the company’s “global structure,” the company said last week.

The affected employees work across several departments in the company’s Ada location and in Buena Park, California, with building maintenance and custodial services seeing the largest reduction.

A spokesperson for Amway said the company needed to “make some adjustments to ensure efficient and effective use of our resources within impacted departments.”

“This action was taken following considerable review and analysis, and we are grateful to these individuals for their many contributions to Amway. We will support all impacted employees through this transition,” the company said.
