An appliance maker in the region has upgraded one of its product lines.

Marvel Premium Refrigeration, part of Greenville-based AGA Marvel, said this month it unveiled design enhancements to its collection of Marvel Professional under-counter fridges.

Marvel said the enhancements improve “aesthetics, storage flexibility and organization.”

The line includes a number of new features: tri-color lighting; midnight black interiors; smooth ball-bearing glides; and in select models, split, convertible shelving and complementary organizational accessories.

Marvel Professional models are now designed with midnight black interiors and tri-color LED lighting with three color options: sapphire blue, amber glow and arctic white.

Integrated controls allow a user to select the color and full or half interior illumination for a two-stage, "theater-style presentation."

The line's smooth ball-bearing shelving system glides out to full extension for convenient access to the back of the shelf, without toppling items.

Certain models in the collection also feature split, convertible shelving for hybrid food, beverage or wine storage. Users can also remove one or both glass panes for wine-rack storage.

The new Marvel Professional refrigerated drawers also have “quick-grip” dividers, which can be adjusted to organize and secure contents.

Art Bochert, VP of sales and marketing at Marvel, said the products offer “as many storage configurations as possible.”

“We recognize that storage needs change throughout your life and design Marvel products to adapt to you,” Bochert said.

Marvel said its products are engineered, hand-built, tested and inspected at the AGA Marvel plant in Greenville.
