A chamber in the region has named its class of up-and-coming professionals.

The Muskegon Lake Shore Chamber of Commerce announced this week the 2017 winners of its Future 15 award.

The award recognizes “emerging leaders under 40.”

The winners will be honored at the chamber’s After Hours event on June 15 at The Deck.

“The young professional community is growing and thriving along the Muskegon lakeshore,” said Cindy Larsen, president, Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce. “The next generation of professionals is becoming more influential in our community, and it is important they are recognized for the contributions being made to the area’s economy and quality of life.”
