Marketing agency hires creative director
A local marketing agency has named its new creative director.
Grand Rapids-based LEAD Marketing Agency said this week it hired Eddie Bullinger for the role.
Bullinger’s responsibilities in the agency’s new position include building and directing LEAD’s new creative team.
Bullinger said his hiring is part of the company’s expansion to a “full-service agency.”
“Our focus will be the same, to drive leads and get results, but it will be my job to make the message stronger and keep the brand consistent,” he said.
LEAD reached out to Bullinger when creating the new role. Though he was happy and comfortable in his former position, he said the offer was “too good to pass up.”
“LEAD Marketing Agency is headed in the right direction,” he said. “They do things the right way, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this expansion.”
Bullinger’s 21-year career includes marketing experience in Holland, Chicago, Denver and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
He was a partner and art director at Murdoch Marketing in Holland since 2006.
He received an associate’s degree in visual communications in 1996 from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, where he was given the Best Portfolio Award.
“Eddie brings major-market talent and experience to Grand Rapids,” said Tom Sullivan, president, LEAD Marketing Agency. “Our current clients are very excited about this addition.”
Bullinger volunteers with multiple organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, his local Cub Scout group and as a coach for Saugatuck Recreation.
LEAD Marketing Agency, founded in 2008, offers various services: traditional and digital media planning and buying; gift card marketing and management; conversion optimization; sponsorship advertising strategy; and franchise marketing.
LEAD has done work for clients such as Two Men and A Truck, Biggby Coffee and the Grand Rapids Griffins, among others.
