A long-time coffee shop in the region is getting a new look and a new menu.

JP’s Coffee and Espresso Bar in downtown Holland, at 57 E. 8th St., will be renovated and re-branded as Ferris Coffee Holland, beginning Jan. 1, 2018.

The new space will feature a modern design reminiscent of a classic diner and a new menu with healthy food and beverage items and breakfast options.

During the renovation, employees will have the opportunity to participate in continued education and training courses. The shop will not be open during renovation.

Ferris Coffee Holland is scheduled to open in the spring.

JP’s Coffee has served the Holland community for more than 20 years.

The shop became part of the Ferris Coffee family in 2014. The company expects to continue to expand its presence in the Holland area.

“Ferris Coffee is excited to be a part of the Holland community and continue the warm, friendly service that has been the hallmark of JP’s culture for the last 20 years,” said John VanTongeren, president and owner, Ferris Coffee.

“The two stores have always had complementary cultures and visions, and this step will allow opportunities for Ferris to connect the Grand Rapids and Holland regions, providing new ways to extend benefits to customers.”
