A maintenance and janitorial services business on the east side of the state has acquired a local property restoration and re-construction company.

Ypsilanti-based Master Maintenance said this week it purchased Grand Rapids-based ProCare Restoration Services.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Zeeland-based mergers and acquisitions firm Rua Associates handled the transaction.

“The purchase of ProCare Restoration Services adds needed services requested by our customers,” said Paul George, president and CEO, Master Maintenance. “We are now able to provide full-service property damage restoration, including mitigation and re-construction in the Grand Rapids area.

“These services will also be offered in the Detroit market in the coming months.”

Established in 2010, ProCare Restoration Services provides property damage mitigation, restoration and re-construction following catastrophic events such as fire, water and wind damage, and also removes mold. The company provides 24/7 emergency services.

Master Maintenance, founded in 1992 by George, provides commercial cleaning and building maintenance, including janitorial and porter services, hard surface floor care, window cleaning, power washing, handyman services, lawn care and snow removal. It operates in all 50 states and Puerto Rico and Canada.
