A discount retailer of apparel and home décor products is part of a group of tenants lined up to occupy space at a shopping center in town.

T.J. Maxx will open in The Village at Knapp’s Crossing in Grand Rapids, next to D&W at East Beltline Avenue NE and Knapp Street NE, according to a post last week by FOX 17.

Chris Brochert, a partner with Bloomfield Hills-based Lormax Stern Development Company, which owns The Village at Knapp’s Crossing, told FOX 17 about the plan.

The T.J. Maxx location should open in the summer of 2019.

Four other businesses have signed on as tenants in the shopping center: Chow Hound; Neurocore; Orangetheory Fitness; and Woodhouse Spa, FOX 17 reports.

The other retailers should open in the summer of 2018.
