A new optometrist has joined the team of a local eye care practice.

Chad Kresnak, O.D. has been hired this month to provide eye care services through Grand Rapids Ophthalmology, or GRO.

Kresnak practices at the Ionia and Walker GRO locations and provides routine eye care for all ages, including primary care, contact lenses, pediatric exams, dry eye management and medical optometry.

“Dr. Kresnak is an excellent communicator who listens to and connects with patients,” said Bill Hughson, CEO, Great Lakes MSO, the firm that manages GRO. “His wide range of clinical experience makes him an excellent addition to our team.”

Kresnak has been providing eye care for patients since 2007. He previously worked for Grand Rapids Eye Care.

He received his undergraduate degree from Hillsdale College and his doctor of optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University.

Kresnak is a member of the American Optometric Association and Michigan Optometric Association.
