Portfolio of self-storage properties sold

The sale of three self-storage properties in West Michigan closed recently.

Farmington Hills-based Pogoda Companies said today it brokered the sale of the portfolio to an unnamed buyer: Felch Street Storage in Holland, at 12285 Felch St.; Lakewood Self Storage in Holland, at 257 W. Lakewood Blvd.; and Georgetown Mini Storage in Jenison, at 7062 12th Ave.

Mark Floria, a self-storage real estate advisor at Pogoda, represented an unnamed seller.

The portfolio comprises 1,361 units and 213,793 square feet of rentable storage space.

Pogoda said it is the company’s largest sales deal of the year.

Pogoda Companies manages about 2.5 million square feet of self-storage space in Michigan and Ohio.

The firm provides brokerage, management and investment services to the self-storage industry through its Pogoda Group, Inc. and Pogoda Management Co. divisions based in Farmington Hills.
