Companies across West Michigan will get to showcase their athleticism this fall.

Meijer State Games of Michigan announced today the new West Michigan Corporate Challenge.

Employees will have the opportunity to face-off in multiple competitions on Sept. 5-6 at various locations.

Some of the competitions include bubble soccer, disc golf toss, extreme archery, football accuracy toss, golf scramble, kickball, obstacle-course relay, parallel parking, soccer shootout and tug of war.

Companies will be divided into four categories based on their number of West Michigan employees, including full-time and part-time. All employees must be 18 or older, and there are no limitations on the number of employees who can participate.

For employees who don’t want to participate in the physical activities, there will be an opportunity to compete in charity events, such as a blood drive, clothing drive and food drive.

Other events include tailgating, a family fun zone contest and a uniform contest.

Employees can also take part in the West Michigan Corporate Challenge by volunteering.

Companies will be awarded first-, second- and third- place trophies, according to the amount of points they racked up during the sporting competitions, charity activities and physical activities.

The company with the highest point total in each division will be awarded the Grand Champion Trophy for the year.

The competition venues include the Art Van Sports Complex, StoneWater Country Club and Rosa Parks Circle.
