Construction firm appoints VPs

A local construction firm has named three senior project managers to the role of vice president.

Bill Pursifull, Jamerson Ries and Troy Redman will all serve as VPs at Grand Rapids-based Wolverine Building Group, while continuing to oversee their current projects.

Pursifull will be in charge multi-family pre-construction, Redman will oversee construction management and Ries will lead multi-family development.

Ries joined Wolverine in 2012 as a project manager to oversee large multi-unit developments. He brings experience in civil engineering, multi-family, subdivision, retail and commercial projects. He has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Baker College and is a licensed civil engineer.

Redman has more than 17 years of experience as a senior project manager. He started as a subcontractor for a developer, and in 2007, he became active in construction management. He holds a B.S. in construction management from Michigan State University.

Pursifull has more than 22 years of experience in the construction industry and has been with Wolverine since 2006. He has an M.S. in structural engineering from Lawrence Tech.
