The local franchise of a national sign and graphics company has been recognized as one of the chain’s top-performing locations.

FASTSIGNS of Grand Rapids, at 29th St. SE — a franchise of the Carrollton, Texas-based company FASTSIGNS International — has been ranked No. 6 out of the company’s 675 locations worldwide.

Franchisee Mike Gilpin was presented with a 2018 CEO Circle Award at the 2018 FASTSIGNS Convention last month in Houston.

The award recognizes the top 25 centers with the highest sales volume in the U.S. and Canada between Oct. 1, 2016 and Sept. 30, 2017.

“(This award reflects) our entire team’s hard work and dedication to helping businesses and organizations solve their visual communications challenges in our community every day,” Gilpin said.

The five highest-performing FASTSIGNS locations are in Nashville and Chattanooga Tennessee, Appleton and Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Dallas — where the chain was founded.
