Meijer is looking to hire 300 people for a new store in the area.

Walker-based Meijer said yesterday that it is seeking candidates in all departments for its new supercenter in Hudsonville, at 4075 32nd Ave. The store is scheduled to open this summer

Positions include clerks, cake decorators, cashiers and meat cutters, as well as customer service and receiving.

Meijer employees receive weekly pay, discounts and flexible schedules. They also have access to health insurance options, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.

People can apply online at jobs.meijer.com/new-stores.

Meijer said its leadership will screen applicants within the next few weeks, and select candidates will be contacted for in-person interviews.
