A West Michigan winery is planning to open a new tasting room in the Grand Rapids area.

Paw Paw-based St. Julian Winery will open a location later this year north of Rockford, at 4425 14 Mile Rd. NE.

The winery will also open a location in May near Oakland Mall in Troy.

Both tasting rooms will feature the full selection of St. Julian wine, cider and spirits.

“This is an exciting time for St. Julian, as we continue to increase our overall wine and spirits production, as well as the different styles that we’re offering to consumers,” said Nancie Oxley, VP and winemaker, St. Julian Winery.

“As such, it makes sense that we expand our retail footprint around the state as well, looking to geographic markets such as Troy and Rockford, where we hope to reach both current and new customers in search of award-winning Michigan made beverages.”

St. Julian also operates tasting rooms in Dundee, Frankenmuth and Union Pier.
