Jane Hofmeyer is a shareholder at the law firm Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge in Grand Rapids. She represents employers in the areas of workers’ compensation and employment law. For more than 20 years, Hofmeyer has represented employers, insurers and third-party claims administrators in the defense of workers’ compensation matters. She has handled thousands of cases before the Michigan Workers’ Compensation Agency. Hofmeyer is also committed to helping HR professionals and employers comply with state and federal employment laws. She serves on the boards of the Grand Rapids General Retirement and Police and Fire Retirement systems and Community Media Center.
